I was talking to a friend last weekend about digital publishing, and I mentioned it would be incredible if we had animated intro covers for these new digital magazines. Then he sends me this today laughing about how my idea got jacked. Although I would still like to see a video loop of them standing there for a little longer.

Site of the Week #7 : Andrew Kim (Industrial...
Andrew Kim caught my eye with his bold approach to greenafying the whole coke line, and I was even more surprised at his extremely talented industrial design skills. Check him out at his blog and his coke project. I’ll be checking back on him for sure.

WIRED’s approach to the new “digital publishing” revolution we’re about to experience. If you’re still skeptical of the iPad’s use in the future, watch what people are doing with just the concept of a touch device. We haven’t seen nothing yet. I’m excited. :)

Site of the Week #5 : Element (Energy Drink)
The new “Element” energy drinks website shows that a beautiful blend of video, CG, branding, and package design can make a very sexy site. This weeks “site of the week” is created by Saizen Media, based in Russia and Italy. It’s not a content heavy site, but is definitely visually pleasing.
